Entry Fees

First car - 15 euros.

Second and subsequent cars - 7 euros each.

Support vehicles* - 4 euros each, but must be entered with at least one eligible car.

*These are likely to be included in the film and include:

• Non-qualifying cars (such as a display of a collection of GP cars that Stirling Moss drove)
• Camera car (such a Range Rover with camera man standing in the sun roof, and fitted with a wireless webcam)
• Emergency vehicles (police, ambulance, fire, and breakdown)
• Official's cars (these are the road-going cars accompanying the competitors)
• Car transporters (period or modern) NB. these don't have to be working models

All cars must be sent in a sealed box with sufficient packaging to prevent damage in transit.   Please do not send cars in plastic display boxes as these can break in transit and cause damage to the cars.  Heavy packaging costs both you and use more money.

We recommend that you use the following method:

Place pieces of foam around the most delicate parts so that they have no pressure on them.  Then wrap the whole car fairly tightly in bubble-wrap, folding over to provide more layers on the most vulnerable parts. Only one layer is shown in these pictures but we recommend several.

Then place the car in the box and fill the remaining space completely with polystyrene chips.  The box shown here is the type we use to send your cars back.  We buy them from the post office here in various sizes. 

Return of cars entered

We will be returning the cars entered in a new box, supplied by the Italian postal service, adequately packed in bubble sheet.  The cost of this and insurance is included in your entry fee.  For the drivers who are bringing their cars and taking them away the entry fee is the same, the extra money goes to the Alzhemier's Research Trust.
